La Leche League of Alameda offers:
- Monthly mother-to-mother support meetings

- 40 years of helping Alameda families
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding
are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding
help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
LLL of Alameda meets on the third Wednesday of each month with
a series beginning in January, May, and September. The December meeting
is the second Wednesday. The meeting location rotates every four months so
please call a Leader for current meeting information, or email at
Jacobs15@alamedanet.net.
Meetings begin at 10:00 AM. Please join us afterwards for refreshments and
take time to browse our lending library of books on parenting, nutrition,
childbirth, nursing and related subjects. Free breastfeeding counseling is
provided by accredited La Leche League Leaders.

Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their
own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League
International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of
breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding
questions or concerns.
