Helping breastfeeding mothers through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education
La Leche League of Atwater/Merced, California
Our accredited La Leche League support group meetings provide an opportunity for both new and experienced mothers to share their questions and concerns, and to talk with one another about the special joys and challenges of parenting. We especially encourage expectant and new mothers to join us. Of course, babies and children are always welcome at La Leche League meetings. We offer double electric breast pumps, slings, and other items for sale, and have an excellent lending library! We look forward to seeing you soon!
Our monthly meetings rotate through the following topics:
Available at each meeting is an excellent library containing books on breastfeeding, pregnancy, birth, nutrition, and parenting. Our manual, THE WOMANLY ART OF BREASTFEEDING, is available to borrow or purchase.
First Thursday of the Month Meeting
All women interested in breastfeeding are encouraged to attend group meetings regardless of membership status. Babies are always welcome.
