Helping breastfeeding mothers through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education
La Leche League of Davis, California
La Leche League meetings emphasize the joys of breast-feeding while they inform and encourage parents who wish to nurse their babies. LLL offers mother to mother help in a series of four meetings. LLL services include a lending library, new mother food train, and 24 hour phone help for breast-feeding problems and questions.
LLL of Davis meetings are open to pregnant and breastfeeding parents of all genders and sexual orientations and expressions. If you are interested in breastfeeding or need breastfeeding support, we encourage you to attend group meetings or to call or email a Leade rfor help. Babies and children are always welcome at meetings.
The La Leche League of Northern California and Hawaii's website contains more information on what to expect at a group meeting.
La Leche League Leaders are experienced parents who have breastfed their own babies, and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche Leage International to help parents and parents-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. Because we are also parents, we can't always return phone calls and emails immediately. We are almost always able to respond within 24 hours but if you don't get a timely response, please contact another local Leader.Membership Information
Meetings and one-to-one breastfeeding support are always free. However, LLL of Davis does have operating costs and we greatly appreciate memberships and donations. Membership is available for a sliding scale between $25 and $40. Donations of any amount are welcome.
Membership payments and donations can be brought to a meeting, or can be paid through Paypal here: membership page.
