Considering breastfeeding or have a question about breastfeeding your baby? We can help! La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing information, support, encouragement and education to women who want to breastfeed. All breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to meetings or call our Leaders for breastfeeding help. The breastfeeding information presented by LLL Leaders has been approved by the LLL International Medical Advisory Board of Physicians and professionals recognized as experts in their field.
Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.
La Leche League of Fresno County, California
La Leche League's monthly meetings provide an opportunity to talk with other mothers about the special joys and challenges of parenting through breastfeeding. A continuing series of informal discussion meetings are offered and are open to all women interested in breastfeeding. Children are welcome.
Meeting Information
- Tuesday Evening Meeting: Our evening Group meets the first Tuesday of every month beginning at 7:00 PM. Fathers are welcome at this meeting.
- Wednesday Meeting: Our Wednesday Group meets the second Wednesday of every month beginning at 9:45 AM.
- Thursday Meeting: Our Thursday Group meets the third Thursday of every month beginning at 9:45 AM.

Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who are accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. Leaders are ready to offer encouragement, support, information, and practical help to both mothers and interested medical professionals. We are happy to talk with you so please don't hesitate to call. Please be aware that we are volunteers working in our own homes, so plan to time your calls accordingly. Thank you.
