La Leche League
is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated
to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women
who want to breastfeed.
Membership in
La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help
to support your local Group and the international organization. The
benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS
magazine.

La Leche League of Hawaii offers support and information through:
- Mother to Mother Support
- Monthly Meetings
- Telephone Help from Accredited Leaders
- Lending Library (books on childbirth, breastfeeding, and related subjects)
Leaders & Meeting Information
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding
are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding
help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who are accredited by La
Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects
of breastfeeding. La Leche League Leaders are available for phone calls
regarding meeting information and whenever you have breastfeeding questions
that cannot wait until the next meeting. Please remember that we are mothers
as well as volunteers working from our homes, so plan to time your calls accordingly. Thank you.
