Helping breastfeeding mothers through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education
La Leche League of Santa Cruz, California
Ever wish a LLL meeting could come to you? If you get a group of 4 or more interested folks together, we will bring a meeting to you. This is a great way to bring LLL to your community group, and to focus on special topics such as nursing toddlers, preparing during pregnancy, returning to work or....will you tell us where else we should be?. We are really open to meeting our community where they are at, and this seems like a great way to do it. Contact our group by email (LLLofSantaCruz@gmail.com) or phone to make arrangements. As always our support is free with donations accepted.
Our groups is taking a hiatus from scheduled meetings. For breastfeeding advice or assistance please feel free to call or email us.
All women interested in breastfeeding are encouraged to attend group meetings regardless of membership status. Babies are always welcome.
Available at each meeting is an excellent library containing books on breastfeeding, pregnancy, birth, nutrition, and parenting. Our manual, THE WOMANLY ART OF BREASTFEEDING, recently revised, is available to borrow or purchase.
The La Leche League of Northern California and Hawaii's website contains more information on what to expect at a group meeting.
To reach a volunteer leader, please call 831-425-3088 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding.
